Arbor Village proudly hosted a Mandela Day Walk-a-Thon, bringing together residents from both the Independent Living and Care Centre communities. This meaningful event provided an opportunity for residents to walk side by side, fostering connections and celebrating the core values of companionship, spontaneity and community, as inspired by the Eden Alternative philosophy.
The walk-a-thon was marked by laughter, shared stories and the forging of new friendships, as the entire village united in a spirit of togetherness and mutual support. This celebration honoured the enduring legacy of Nelson Mandela, embracing the principles of unity, compassion and joyful community engagement.
