For this year’s Nurses’ Day (12 May), we paused to honour the incredible dedication and compassion of the 36 care staff who serve at the heart of Summerfield Park Retirement Village. Our nurses and care staff are more than just professionals – they are companions, listeners, advocates and lifelines for our residents. Their care extends beyond medical needs, offering warmth, patience, and unwavering support in life’s most vulnerable moments.
In a home where many residents are frail and navigating complex health challenges, our team of caregivers work tirelessly to support not just physical health, but emotional well-being too. Whether it’s assisting with daily tasks, managing medications, or offering a comforting hand – their contributions are immeasurable.
