Summerfield Park offers specialised cognitive impairment accommodation within the St. Christopher’s Dementia Care Unit in Jukskei Park, Randburg. Designed to provide residents with comfort, dignity, and personalised support, the unit caters for individuals requiring professional dementia and memory care assistance in a secure and nurturing environment.
The care unit consists of 14 single rooms with assisted showering and bathing facilities and provides residents with full board and lodging. Residents receive compassionate 24-hour nursing care together with housekeeping, laundry services, and three nutritious home-cooked meals daily.
The secure unit includes a peaceful private garden and outdoor seating area where residents can relax and enjoy fresh air safely. Occupational therapy, exercise, and stimulating activities form part of the daily routine to help promote cognitive wellbeing, engagement, and physical mobility.
