About Us

Building a Credible Legacy

Our History

Founded in 1970, Methodist Homes has stood the test of time, evolving into a major player in the field of elderly care. We manage a diverse property portfolio valued at approximately R1.9 billion, across 14 villages in Gauteng and the Northwest Provinces, reflecting our commitment to providing top-notch facilities and services to our residents.

.

MHA is run on sound business principles to ensure success in an increasingly difficult environment, at all times remembering that most older people are trying to make ends meet out of fixed and often declining incomes.

our association with

the Methodist Church of SA

The company has strong links with the church, and subscribes to high moral and ethical standards in the way it conducts its business. Having said that, the company is not in any way financially supported by the church.

At least 50% of our board members are Methodists of good standing, and each home has a local committee that has a representative of the Methodist Church.

Residency Criteria

MHA welcomes residents of all races and religious denominations, without discriminatory practices.

Active participation in industry associations keeps MHA informed on industry trends.
